oProvide a positive representation of Ace Hardware.oProactively assist customers in solving problems.oGreet customers entering and throughout the storeThank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store.oPossess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.oEnsure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.oForward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.oPossess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and location of products.oAssist customers throughout the store with personal, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.Store OperationsoAssist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment.oAssist with receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store.oAssist with maintaining back stock levels.oAssist with daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area.oAssist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise.oAssist with merchandise resets through the store.oProvide assistance to Department Specialists, i.eprice changes, special orders.oEnsure signage is current throughout the store.oOperate forklift with proper training.oCommunicate any Store Support Center issue to General Manager for follow up.oCommunicate any merchandising, cost control or sales idea to General Manager.oParticipate in store meetings.oBe professional in appearance and actions.oPerform all other duties as assigned.Other Essential RequirementsPhysical DemandsStanding, walking, lifting (up to 80lbs) and climbing.Notice to Applicant about this Employer:
