Our office is fast paced and treats children from birth to 18 years old.
We are actively searching for a dental assistant to work 3-4 days a week with varying patient days each week Monday through Thursday.
This can become a full time position in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Proficient in Dentrix Dental Software - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays using digital sensors - Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Perform patient assessments and record medical histories - Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records and documentation Skills:
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials - Experience in pediatric dentistry techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
